Job Overview

Job Title: Transport Administrator
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Salary: £22,500 per annum
Contract: 6-month contract (potential to go Permanent)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
 

We are currently supporting a Food Manufacturer / Distributor located in the picturesque town of Welwyn Garden City. Our client is seeking a highly organised and flexible candidate to join their busy team.

Job Duties:

  • Manage third party transport administration
  • Investigating any outstanding invoices
  • Processing purchase orders and maintaining files
  • Check all invoices for all non-export transport and input data accurately
  • Handle all failed delivery reports
  • Maintain timesheets and holiday requests for the transport team
  • Ad hoc administration

Person Specification:

  • Highly organised
  • Must have previous administration experience. Transport administration is highly advantageous
  • Great attention to detail
  • IT Literate with good MS Office and Outlook skills
  • Previous experience with SAP and SAGE
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
